Immunity from civil liability, when.

578.353. Any person licensed under chapter 334 or 335, RSMo,who, in good faith, makes a report pursuant to section 578.350shall have immunity from civil liability that otherwise mightresult from such report and shall have the same immunity withrespect to any good faith participation in any judicialproceeding in which the reported gunshot wound is an issue.Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision (5) of section491.060, RSMo, the existence of a physician-patient relationshipshall not prevent a physician from submitting the report requiredin section 578.350, or testifying regarding information acquiredfrom a patient treated for a gunshot wound if such testimony isotherwise admissible.
