Insurer may notify authorized agency of suspected fraudulent theftclaim, provide information.

589.205. If an insurer has reason to believe that a motorvehicle theft claim made by an insured is fraudulent, the insurermay:

(1) Notify, in writing, an authorized agency of thesuspected fraudulent claim; and

(2) Provide the agency with all material developed from theinsurer's inquiry into the claim.
