Community college business and technology centers, establishment,purpose, funding--rulemaking authority of department, procedure.

620.482. 1. The department may provide assistance, throughappropriations made from the Missouri job development fund, to business andtechnology centers. Such assistance may not include the lending of thestate's credit for the payment of any liability of the fund. Such centersmay be established by Missouri community colleges, or a state-ownedpostsecondary technical college, to provide business and training servicesin disciplines which shall include, but not be limited to, environmentalhealth and safety, industrial electrical technology, machine tooltechnology, industrial management and technology, computer consulting andcomputer-aided drafting, microcomputer training and telecommunicationstraining.

2. The department of economic development shall promulgate rules andregulations as are necessary to implement the provisions of sections620.470 to 620.482. No rule or portion of a rule promulgated under theauthority of sections 620.470 to 620.482 shall become effective unless ithas been promulgated pursuant to the provisions of section 536.024, RSMo.
