Production of documents and records, ordered when.

622.370. At the request of the division's general counsel and upongood cause shown by the counsel the division shall require or on its owninitiative the division may require, by order served upon any corporationor person in the manner provided for the service of orders, the productionwithin this state at such time and place as it may designate, of any books,accounts, papers or records kept by said corporation or person in anyoffice or place within or without this state, or, at its option, verifiedcopies in lieu thereof, so that an examination thereof may be made by thegeneral counsel when the order is issued at the counsel's request or by thedivision or under its direction.
