Training requirements for enforcement personnel to be adopted bydivision--rulemaking authority.

622.620. 1. Notwithstanding any provisions of section 390.045, RSMo,to the contrary, the division shall by rule adopt reasonable trainingrequirements for its enforcement personnel to prepare them for their actualduties of employment; this training need not require any basic lawenforcement training as required of peace officers as specified in chapter590, RSMo.

2. No rule or portion of a rule promulgated pursuant to the authorityof sections 622.600 to 622.620 shall become effective unless it has beenpromulgated pursuant to the provisions of section 536.024, RSMo.
