Regional centers to secure services.

633.105. The regional centers shall be the entry and exitpoints in each region responsible for securing comprehensivemental retardation and developmental disability services forclients of the department. The center shall carry out thisresponsibility either through contracts purchasing the requiredservices or through the direct provision of the services ifcommunity-based services are not available, economical or aseffective for the provision of the services.
