Fees, nonpayment--penalty.

644.055. Any person who fails to pay the required feesshall be subject to a penalty of the amount of interest accruedon the unpaid fees at the rate of two percent for each month thatthe fee is delinquent. If the fees are not paid within sixmonths of the due date, the attorney general of the state ofMissouri shall initiate appropriate action for the collection ofsaid fees and interest accrued. The court shall assess attorneyfees and court costs against any delinquent permittee. Allremaining moneys shall be placed in the appropriate subaccount ofthe natural resources protection fund.
