Discharging water contaminants, permit required--violation,penalties.

644.082. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, useor maintain and discharge water contaminants from any watercontaminant or point source or wastewater treatment plant unlesshe holds a permit from the commission. Any person violating thissection shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall befined upon conviction at least one hundred dollars and not morethan five hundred dollars and shall be required to apply for sucha permit within thirty days.
