Commissioners authorized to borrow additional $20,000,000 forcontrol of water pollution--sewage treatment facilities defined.

644.502. 1. In addition to those sums authorized prior toSeptember 28, 1983, the board of fund commissioners of the stateof Missouri, as authorized by section 37(c) of article III of theConstitution of the State of Missouri, is authorized to borrow,on the credit of this state, the sum of twenty million dollars inthe manner and for the purposes set out in this chapter.

2. For the purposes of sections 644.500 to 644.561 the term"sewage treatment facilities" shall include any method, process,or equipment which removes, reduces, or renders less obnoxiouswater contaminants released from any source, pipeline orconduits, pumping stations, force mains, and other structures,devices, appurtenances, and facilities used for collecting orconducting wastes to an ultimate point for treatment or handling.
