Chief and deputy inspectors to furnish bond.

650.280. The chief inspector shall furnish a bond in the sumof five thousand dollars and each of the deputy inspectors,employed and paid by the state, shall furnish a bond in the sumof two thousand dollars, conditioned upon the faithfulperformance of their duties and upon a true account of moneyshandled by them respectively and the payment thereof to theproper recipient. The cost of the bonds shall be paid by thestate.
