Advisory committee for 911 service oversight established.

650.325. There is hereby established within the department of publicsafety the "Advisory Committee for 911 Service Oversight" which is chargedwith assisting and advising the state in ensuring the availability,implementation and enhancement of a statewide emergency telephone numbercommon to all jurisdictions through research, planning, training andeducation. The committee for 911 service oversight shall represent allentities and jurisdictions before appropriate policy-making authoritiesand the general assembly and shall strive toward the immediate access toemergency services for all citizens of this state.
