General assembly may make additional appropriations, purposes.

660.099. 1. The general assembly may appropriate funds in additionto the amount currently being provided per annum for nutrition services forthe elderly. Funds so designated to provide nutrition services for theelderly shall be allocated to the Missouri department of health and seniorservices to be equitably distributed to each area agency on agingthroughout the state of Missouri based upon formulas promulgated by thedepartment of health and senior services.

2. The general assembly may appropriate funds in addition to theamount currently being provided per annum through the Missouri elderly andhandicapped transportation program. Funds so designated to providetransportation for the elderly and developmentally disabled shall beallocated to the Missouri department of health and senior services to beequitably distributed to each area agency on aging throughout the state ofMissouri based upon formulas promulgated by the department of health andsenior services.

3. The general assembly may appropriate funds in addition to theamount currently being provided per annum for home-delivered meals for theelderly. Such additional funds shall be allocated to the Missouridepartment of health and senior services to be equitably distributed toeach area agency on aging throughout the state of Missouri based uponformulas promulgated by the department of health and senior services.
