701.345. 1. There is hereby created in the state treasury the"Childhood Lead Testing Fund". The state treasurer shall deposit to thecredit of the fund all moneys which may be appropriated to it by thegeneral assembly and also any gifts, contributions, grants, bequests orother aid received from federal, private or other sources related to leadtesting, education and screening. The general assembly may appropriatemoneys to the fund for the support of the childhood lead testing programestablished in sections 701.340 to 701.349. The moneys in the fund shallbe used to fund the administration of childhood lead programs, theadministration of blood tests to uninsured children, educational materialsand analysis of lead blood test reports and case management.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080, RSMo, to thecontrary, moneys in the fund shall not revert to the credit of the generalrevenue fund at the end of the biennium.
