Political subdivision shall have enforcement powers of inspectorif local law requires annual inspection.

701.367. 1. Any municipality or other politicalsubdivision which qualifies under the provisions of sections701.350 to 701.380 shall enforce the provisions of sections701.363 to 701.367 and the rules of the board promulgatedhereunder and for such purpose shall have the powers of theinspector prescribed in section 701.365. In order to so qualify,a municipality or political subdivision shall enact a local lawor ordinance requiring an annual inspection of all installations,new installations, and existing installations required to beinspected by the provisions of sections 701.363 to 701.367located in such municipality or political subdivision.

2. The provisions of sections 701.350 to 701.380 shall notapply to materials handling equipment which complies with ANSIB20.1 STANDARD.
