     7-7-4252. Publication of notice of sale. The city or town council or commission shall cause such notice to be published as provided in 17-5-106 in a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said city or town if there be one and, if not, then in a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the county in which said city or town is located. The council or commission may in its discretion cause such notice to be published in such other newspaper or newspapers published either within or without the state as in the opinion of the council or commission will be most likely to give notice of such sale to prospective bidders.
