19-422. Cities adopting the commission plan; laws applicable.All general state laws governing cities described in section 19-401 shall, according to the class within which it is embraced, apply to and govern any city adopting sections 19-401 to 19-433 and electing officers thereunder so far, and only so far, as such laws are applicable and not inconsistent with the provisions, intents and purposes of said sections.
