Credit unions existing prior to October 1, 1996; how treated.Credit unions formed, merged, or consolidated pursuant to and in compliance with the laws of the State of Nebraska as they existed prior to October 1, 1996, shall not be required to meet formation, merger, or consolidation requirements but shall meet all other requirements set forth in the Credit Union Act.
