25-1606. Jurors; how summoned; notice.The summons of grand and petit jurors for the courts of this state shall be served by the jury commissioner of such court by mailing a copy of such summons, containing the time, place, and the name of the court which such jurors are to attend, by either registered, certified, or first-class mail to the person whose name has been drawn, not less than ten days before the day such juror is to appear as a juror in such court, except that this shall not prevent service of special summons on a talesman by the sheriff of the county or by such other person as may be designated by the judge or judges.
