3-126. Department ofAeronautics Cash Fund; created; use; investment.TheDepartment of Aeronautics Cash Fund is created. All money received by thedepartment pursuant to the State Aeronautics Department Act shall be remittedto the State Treasurer for credit to the fund. The department is authorized,whether acting for this state, as the agent of any of its municipalities,or as the agent of any person owning a privately owned public use airport,or when requested by the United States Government or any agency or departmentthereof, to disburse such money. Transfersmay be made from the fund to the General Fund at the direction of the Legislaturethrough June 30, 2011. Any money in the Departmentof Aeronautics Cash Fund available for investment shall be investedby the state investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska Capital ExpansionAct and the Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.
