32-610. Partisan elections; candidate; requirements.No person shall be allowed to file a candidate filing form as a partisan candidate or to have his or her name placed upon a primary election ballot of a political party unless (1) he or she is a registered voter of the political party if required pursuant to section 32-702 and (2) at the last election the political party polled at least five percent of the entire vote in the state, county, political subdivision, or district in which the candidate seeks the nomination for office. A candidate filing form filed in violation of this section shall be void. SourceLaws 1994, LB 76, ยง 178.
