45-345. License; requirement; exception.(1) No person shall act as a sales finance company in this state without obtaining a license therefor from the Department of Banking and Finance as provided in the Nebraska Installment Sales Act whether or not such person maintains an office, place of doing business, or agent in this state, unless such person meets the requirements of section 45-340.(2) No financial institution or installment loan licensee authorized to do business in this state shall be required to obtain a license under the act but shall comply with all of the other provisions of the act.(3) A seller who does not otherwise act as a sales finance company shall not be required to obtain a license under the act but shall comply with all of the other provisions of the act in order to charge the time-price differential allowed by section 45-338.
