46-2,137. Water PolicyTask Force Cash Fund; created; use; investment.TheWater Policy Task Force Cash Fund is created. The fund shall be administeredby the Department of Natural Resources and expended at the direction of theWater Policy Task Force. The fund shall consist of funds appropriated by theLegislature, money received as gifts, grants, and donations, and transfersauthorized under sections 2-1579 and 66-1519. Any money in the fund availablefor investment shall be invested by the state investment officer pursuantto the Nebraska Capital Expansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds InvestmentAct.On April 6,2010, the State Treasurer shall: (1) Transfer fifty thousand dollars fromthe Water Policy Task Force Cash Fund to the Republican River Basin WaterSustainability Task Force Cash Fund; and (2) transfer the remaining unexpendedbalance in the Water Policy Task Force Cash Fund to the Water Resources TrustFund.
