48-1626. Commissioner; powers.The commissioner is designated as the Governor's Workforce Investment Act liaison and may:(1) Monitor and review for the Governor organizations and agencies engaged in and facilities used for the administration or delivery of job training programs under Title I of the federal Workforce Investment Act; and(2) Provide staff support and adopt such methods of administration as are necessary for the proper and efficient operation of the duties and functions provided in the federal Workforce Investment Act.
