60-1401.24. Manufacturer, defined.Manufacturer meansany person, resident or nonresident of this state, who is engaged in the businessof distributing, manufacturing, or assembling a line-make of new motor vehicles,trailers, or motorcycles and distributes them directly or indirectly throughone or more distributors to one or more new motor vehicle, trailer, or motorcycledealers in this state and also has the same meaning as the term franchisor.Manufacturer alsoincludes a central or principal sales corporation or other entity throughwhich, by contractual agreement or otherwise, a manufacturer distributes itsproducts.
