71-1609. Board of health; meetings; officers; compensation.The board of health shall arrange for a permanent meeting place and hold at least one regular meeting each month. The board shall elect a president and vice president annually, and may also elect from outside their membership, a secretary and such other officers and employees as they may deem necessary for the administration of the affairs of the district, with such salary as the board shall direct.
