81-1429.01. Crimes Against Children Fund; created; use; investment.There is hereby created the Crimes Against Children Fund. The fund shall be appropriated by the Legislature and administered by the Nebraska Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice for the purpose of reducing the expenses incurred by county attorneys in consulting with and retaining expert witnesses and other costs in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children. Any money in the fund available for investment shall be invested by the state investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska Capital Expansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.
