130.7015  “Direct request” defined. [Effective on the date that the provisions of The Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance is ratified by the President and the United States deposits its instrument of ratification.]  “Direct request” means a petition filed by an individual in a tribunal of this State in a proceeding involving an obligee, obligor or a child residing outside the United States.
