211.050  Forfeiture by sheriff or jailer who defrauds prisoner of allowance; action by board of county commissioners.  Any sheriff or jailer who defrauds a prisoner of his or her allowance, or does not allow a reasonable allowance and accommodation, forfeits $50 for each offense. The money may be recovered in an appropriate civil action by the board of county commissioners.
