21.095 - Property exempt from execution upon judgment for medical bill. - Nevada Statutes

21.095  Property exempt from execution upon judgment for medical bill.  The primary dwelling, including a mobile or manufactured home, of a judgment debtor is exempt from execution upon a judgment for a medical bill. The parcel of land upon which the dwelling is situated and any appurtenances thereto are also exempt if they are owned by the judgment debtor. These exemptions apply during the:

      1.  Lifetime of the judgment debtor, his or her spouse, his or her dependent adult child if that child is mentally or physically disabled or a joint tenant if the person was a joint tenant when the judgment was entered; or

      2.  Minority of any child of the judgment debtor, if the judgment debtor or joint tenant resides in the dwelling, or the spouse, dependent or minor child of the judgment debtor resides in the dwelling.
