279.583  Proposals by legislative body to exclude certain land from proposed redevelopment area.  After publication of notice of the public hearing pursuant to NRS 279.580 and before approval of the redevelopment plan by the legislative body, the legislative body may submit to the planning commission a proposal to exclude land from a proposed redevelopment area. Within 30 days after that change is submitted to it for consideration, the planning commission shall submit its report and recommendation to the legislative body. If the planning commission does not report upon the change within 30 days after its submission by the legislative body, the legislative body may proceed to exclude the land from the proposed redevelopment area without that report and recommendation.
