286.669  Person convicted of murder or voluntary manslaughter of member ineligible to receive benefits.  Any person convicted of the murder or voluntary manslaughter of a member of the System is ineligible to receive any benefit conferred by any provision of this chapter by reason of the death of that member. The System may withhold the payment of any benefit otherwise payable under this chapter by reason of the death of any member from any person charged with the murder or voluntary manslaughter of that member, pending final determination of those charges.
