293.542 - Notification that registered voter has been adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent by district court. - Nevada Statutes

293.542  Notification that registered voter has been adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent by district court.  Within 30 days after a person is adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent by a district court, the clerk of the district court shall provide a certified copy of the order or judgment of insanity or mental incompetency to:

      1.  The county clerk of the county in which the person is a resident, if the person is not a resident of the county in which the district court is located; or

      2.  The registrar of voters of the county, if the person is a resident of the county in which the district court is located and the county has created the office of registrar of voters pursuant to NRS 244.164.
