295.280  Handling of petition.  After the submission of the petition to the county or city clerk for verification pursuant to NRS 295.250 to 295.290, inclusive, the petition must not be handled by any person other than an employee of the office of the county or city clerk until the county or city clerk has attached a certificate to the petition pursuant to NRS 295.270.
