31.750  Notice of application for discharge.  Such person shall cause a notice in writing to be given to the plaintiff, or the plaintiff’s agent or attorney, that at a certain time and place the person will apply to the district judge of the county in which such person may be confined for the purpose of obtaining a discharge from imprisonment.
