392C.050  Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children Account; creation; administration; uses.

      1.  Money to carry out the provisions of this chapter must be accounted for separately in the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children Account which is hereby created.

      2.  The money in the Account may be used by the State Council for the Coordination of the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children created pursuant to NRS 392C.020 to:

      (a) Pay any assessments, obligations or fees to the Interstate Commission.

      (b) To meet necessary administrative expenses of the State Council.

      3.  The Superintendent of Public Instruction shall administer the Account.

      4.  The Superintendent of Public Instruction may accept any gifts, grants or donations for deposit in the Account.

      5.  Nothing in the provisions of NRS 392C.010 to 392C.070, inclusive, require the Department or the board of trustees of a school district to allocate money in addition to money available in the Account for the payment of expenses incurred pursuant to those provisions.
