396.060 - Vacancies. - Nevada Statutes

396.060  Vacancies.  In case of a vacancy in the Board of Regents caused by death, resignation, removal, or otherwise, the Governor shall fill the vacancy by the appointment of a qualified person to serve until the next succeeding general election, when the vacancy shall be filled by election for the remainder of the unexpired term of office of the Regent originally elected.
