417.117  Checking account for payment of expenses of persons for whom Executive Director acts as guardian: Maintenance; reimbursement; expenditures.

      1.  The Executive Director shall maintain a checking account to pay the expenses of those persons for whom the Executive Director acts as guardian pursuant to NRS 417.110 which require immediate payment.

      2.  The State Treasurer shall reimburse the checking account with money from the Fund as soon as practicable after the Executive Director makes an expenditure from that account.

      3.  The Executive Director shall not expend money from the checking account for any purpose other than the purpose described in subsection 1.
