428.255 - Reimbursement of Fund by counties. - Nevada Statutes

428.255  Reimbursement of Fund by counties.  Any reimbursement or partial reimbursement made from the Fund for unpaid charges for hospital care furnished to a person which are not greater than $3,000, is a charge upon the county in which:

      1.  The accident occurred, if the person is not a resident of this state and the accident occurred in this state; or

      2.  The person resides, if the person is a resident of this state,

Ê and must be paid upon a claim presented by the Board as other claims against the county are paid.
