433A.620  Limitation on payment from estate of client.  Payment for the care, support, maintenance and other expenses of a person admitted to a division mental health facility shall not be exacted from such person’s estate if there is a likelihood of such person’s recovery or release from such facility and payment will reduce the person’s estate to such an extent that he or she is likely to become a burden on the community in the event of his or her discharge from such facility.
