457.185  Action on application for certificate of authorization; withdrawal of certificate. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]

      1.  The Health Division shall grant or deny an application for a certificate of authorization to operate a radiation machine for mammography or a certificate of authorization for a radiation machine for mammography within 4 months after receipt of a complete application.

      2.  The Health Division shall withdraw the certificate of authorization to operate a radiation machine for mammography if it finds that the person violated the provisions of subsection 5 of NRS 457.183.

      3.  The Health Division shall deny or withdraw the certificate of authorization of a radiation machine for mammography if it finds that the owner, lessee or other responsible person violated the provisions of subsection 1 of NRS 457.184.

      4.  If a certificate of authorization to operate a radiation machine for mammography or a certificate of authorization for a radiation machine for mammography is withdrawn, a person must apply for the certificate in the manner provided for an initial certificate.
