501.030  “Fishes,” “fishing,” “fished” and “to fish” defined.  The words “to fish” and their derivatives, “fishes,” “fishing” and “fished,” mean catching, taking, capturing, killing, injuring or crippling of a fish or game amphibian, and every attempt to do so.
