539.657  District to pay expenses of investigation and report.  All necessary expenses incurred in making the investigation and report provided for in NRS 539.640 to 539.665, inclusive, shall be paid as the Department of Taxation may require by the irrigation district whose property has been investigated and reported on by the Department; but the benefit of any services that have been performed and any data that have been obtained by the Department or any other public official, in pursuance of the requirements of any law other than NRS 539.640 to 539.665, inclusive, shall be made available for the use of the Department of Taxation without charge to the district whose affairs are under investigation.
