539.517  General fund: Expenditure for exploiting district resources; limitation; tax.  The board of directors is empowered to expend not to exceed the sum of $1,500 in any 1 year for the purpose of exploiting the resources of the irrigation district. Such moneys shall be raised by a tax levy and shall be payable out of the general fund.
