569.050  Written notice to Department when person takes up estray.  If a person takes up an estray, the person shall, within 5 days thereafter, make out a written description of the animal, setting forth all marks or brands appearing upon the animal, and other marks of identity, including color, age and sex, and forward the description by mail to the Department at its office.
