569.120  Estrays and feral livestock may be taken up by agents of Department; procedure for disposal.  Estrays and feral livestock may be taken up by authorized agents of the Department. The disposal of the estrays and feral livestock must be conducted in the manner set forth in the provisions of NRS 569.040 to 569.130, inclusive.

      NRS 569.130  Penalties.  Any person, including, without limitation, any firm, company, association or corporation, who takes up or retains in his or her possession any estray or feral livestock not the person’s property, without the owner’s consent, or except in accordance with the provisions of NRS 569.040 to 569.130, inclusive, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
