628.387  Exemptions.  The Board may, in accordance with the intent of this chapter, make exceptions from continuing education requirements for certificate holders or registrants not engaged in public practice, or for reasons of health, military service or other good cause, except that if such certificate holder or registrant returns to the practice of public accounting he or she shall meet such continuing education requirements as the Board may determine.

      NRS 628.388  Committee on Continuing Education.  The Board may appoint a Committee on Continuing Education consisting of certified public accountants and registered public accountants in active practice and holding live permits. Upon assignment and as directed by the Board, the Committee shall assist the Board in the administration of the provisions of this chapter for continuing education.
