641C.435  Period certificate is valid; scope of practice authorized by certificate.

      1.  A certificate as a problem gambling counselor is valid for 2 years and may be renewed.

      2.  A certified problem gambling counselor may:

      (a) Engage in the practice of counseling problem gamblers;

      (b) Assess and evaluate a person as a problem gambler; and

      (c) If approved by the Board, supervise certified problem gambling counseling interns.
