656.270  Suspension of license or certificate for mental illness.  The entry of a decree by a court of competent jurisdiction establishing the mental illness of any person holding a license or certificate under this chapter operates as a suspension of the license or certificate. Such a person may resume his or her business or practice only upon a finding by the Board that the holder of the license or certificate has been determined to be recovered from mental illness by a court of competent jurisdiction and upon the Board’s recommendation that the holder be permitted to resume his or her business or practice.
