673.213  Directors: Compensation and expenses.  The directors of an association shall not charge or receive, directly or indirectly, any pay or emolument for their services as directors. This provision shall not prevent the payment of compensation and expenses to officers of the association who are also directors, nor the payment of compensation and expenses to directors for attendance upon meetings of the board of directors, or for special services performed by directors for the association. All such compensation and expenses shall be approved by the board of directors.
