Section 12-A:7 Planning and Development Commission Abolished; Transfer of Functions and Powers, Tenure. - New Hampshire Statutes

The state planning and development commission, established pursuant to RSA 12, as amended, is hereby abolished. All of its powers, duties, functions, personnel, records and property are hereby transferred to the department of resources and economic development. Wherever reference is made to the planning and development commission in the statutes, it shall henceforth be construed to mean the department of resources and economic development. The tenure of members of the planning and development commission shall terminate upon the appointment and qualification of the commissioner of resources and economic development and directors of the divisions of resources and economic development. The commissioner shall assign, with the approval of the advisory commission, such duties, functions, personnel, records and property transferred to the department by this section to the division of resources and to the division of economic development as in his discretion he deems necessary and advisable.
